Join us in September celebrating Indigenous Literacy
Sign up for the month of September. We'll give you an empty bookshelf to fill with books for children in remote communities. Every donation you collect from your friends and family, will help us buy new, carefully chosen books for those who don't have any.
We believe that every child in Australia should have access to books and you can help make that happen! Learn more...
How can I support Indigenous Literacy Day?
1. Sign up and create a fundraising profile
2. Ask friends and family to donate a book to your shelf
3. Fill your virtual bookshelf
4. Change the lives of children living in remote Australia!
How you will make a difference
Your donations will help us gift new books to remote Indigenous communities that need them.
Being able to read CHANGES LIVES. You will make a difference to the lives of Indigenous children living in some of the most disadvantaged areas in Australia, by gifting thousands of quality books.
“The books gave the children a real sense of ownership, and that meant that they would read the book over and over, so the literacy side was being explored. Both the community and the children state that the books were wonderful.”
